Here, I see the root cause mostly rapid immigration with no integration into culture. Most of these people will never move out into the remote parts of australia, but the australians who are there continue to have that culture you are talking about. In the city though, its a jewish paradise

But I spend a lot of time in rural areas and there is a lot of what I would consider classic, or an evolution of classic australian culture. Large 4x4s, flannel, accents, bbqs, beer, you do not find these things much in within the city of its greater suburbia.

You obviously do not understand what is happening in Australia right now. They are blocking 4g phones because many of them are not compatible with VOLTE over 4G, which is now mandatory in this country. What makes this worse, is that there are different version of VOLTE and many devices that are compatible are still being blocked, because no one actually knows what is and what isn't and the networks are guessing.
We have tonnes of guns in Australia, in fact there are more guns in private hands than ever before. Because just saying you disagree with the government here is all they need to send 12 cops to your front door to bash it in.
No, most of the population is compliant. If they wanted to change it, they wouldnt support so much of the government. Take the police for example. Without them, those people who wanted to make change, could. But if you ask the average person here what they think about the police, you will get a neutral or positive response. No one cares. They get what they deserve.
