exactly this, it was a psychological study write up on (I believe) 4-chan written by a guy who worked with prisoners and was talking about how the IQ of some of the inmates were so low that they were unable to even comprehend "what if's". Some of the prisoners even got angry at the question "how would you feel if you hadn't eaten breakfast this morning?", and would loudly insist "but I DID eat breakfast!!!". Needless to say, the inmates also didn't understand "how would you feel if someone had killed/raped/hurt someone you love?" appeal to empathy.

Awesome job. Sometimes it is well worth it to take the time to make a special meal... even when it takes 6 hours to make and 30min to eat >_< haha

For me, it took a long time to "wake up" to the problem of alcohol. My uncle was a very bad alcoholic, so I got to see firsthand what can happen. I worked at a place that sold liquor- people would be at the door when we opened at 9am waiting for their pint of liquor. People would return, sometimes multiple times a day, to get their fix. But I wasn't anything like that.

I was a happy drunk. I was fun, I was intimate with my husband, I had great times with my friends. I had long, late nights, singing songs and enjoying my life. I went to work, I had a husband and kids. Mama deserved to have her relaxing time. I was NOTHING like my uncle, who drank bottles of cheap Popov/Dubra and turned into a spiteful and mean man.

But slowly things began to change. I would have a bottle of wine every night. I would sometimes forget a movie I watched. I would sometimes forget falling asleep. I would sometimes forget I was intimate with my husband. But I was still having fun, right? No harm, right?

I cut back. Only drinking when I had my period, for pain relief for a day or 2. Then why not drink the whole week? Then eventually why not most nights? We were having fun!

It was a long road to realize that my drinking had to stop. Now I'm sober, I'm still having fun. I remember more. I have dreams at night. I wake up well in the morning (when I don't stay up to 2am on the internet).

I'm very happy that you were able to figure out the dangers of alcohol early. I do believe we all have our own unique path of learning, and you passed this test quickly and easily. Sincere congratulations.

I never tried a cigarette. I've never had a cup of coffee. To me- those were vices I knew I never wanted to try. I'm thankful that I never started- but I also recognize that those that were addicted to those and gave them up have a lot of willpower, strength, and fortitude.

I think anytime we make good choices, we ought to be thankful. :)

I'm not sure! I think it's supposed to grow back your original/natural color, but I guess it could be possible that permanent damage can be done to follicles.

Yes to all these questions, and also "how heavy will the things hanging on the walls be?"

In high school I dyed my hair a dark auburn color for awhile. On the morning of my HS graduation I re-dyed it- and it accidentally came out a bright red Ariel-from-the-animated-Little-Mermaid color... so I had to re-dye it brown to look somewhat normal in my graduation pics. That was the last time I dyed it, lol.

I actually adore my natural color, it's very similar to the picture of the dyed hair on the left.

Many people forget that when you buy (most) beer, the water is fluoridated. Grats on making your own.

Awesome job, keep it up.

I love ginger beer myself (not ginger ale), but it can definitely have a lot of sugar in it. Some other things I like to treat myself with instead of soda are kombucha and water kefir. They're supposed to have prebiotics and probiotics in them so it's "good for your gut health". They still have the fizziness and different flavors to keep me satisfied. When I drink cranberry juice, I try to get the unsweetened one (the sugary ones like Ocean Spray are shit), and it is definitely bitter/astringent, but it is just like having a glass of dry red wine and I loved doing that while I was pregnant, knowing it takes care of the urinary tract as well.

Best of luck on your new lifestyle. Know that you will feel moments of weakness or "maybe just a few aren't so bad" or "I'll only drink when I'm at a party/with friends/etc" but if I stay strong life will show me I've made the best decision abstaining. Last week I went out with some of my girl friends that I used to drink heavily with, they ended up getting fucking ridiculous, acted like retarded children that would not listen to me trying to help them and keep them out of trouble, and the next morning I had to explain the whole night to them because they couldn't remember what happened.

Definitely don't want to be drinking anymore since I have young children- that shit is embarrassing and you're unable to function and be responsible.

Also- I keep hearing that lemon balm (genus Melissa) tinctures are fucking amazing for stress relief, maybe look into them if you need something "stronger than soda" to unwind. You can grow lemon balm in a pot (it spreads like crazy so you may want it contained), cut some branches and leaves and soak in vodka for 6 weeks (keep in a dark place, shake every day or 2), strain, and have a drop or 2 mixed in a drink as needed (note- don't use vodka if it's too tempting, you can use glycerin or vinegar to make a tincture too).

It's not that easy. It's obvious beyond a reasonable doubt the sheriff murdered a judge. The jury would just be choosing between 1st and 2nd degree murder charges. HOWEVER, if they use "jury nullification", they can say "yes this law was broken, yes this person was guilty, but the laws should not apply because xxxxx" and in this case xxxxx is 'guy raped my young daughter. Jury nullification is how they can use "their conscience" legally to let the guy go free.

let's hope that, after jury selection, one or 2 of them 'accidentally' learn about jury nullification.

there are gummies and a "lemonade" powder drink called Natural Vitality Calm that gives magnesium quickly. When my son has leg pains at night, I give him a magnesium cream (magnesium can be absorbed through the skin) and it usually helps too.

thanks for the link. I've seen sooooo many obviously fake birds/animals/flowers/weather phenomena posted lately (mostly by my aunt on FB, haha) that it's ridiculous. With how good AI is getting, it's hard to tell sometimes.

But seriously.. some of the videos the "bird feathers" are literally morphing/changing, and these retards still comment "wow, what a cool bird!"- like, are you guys on acid or something?? dafuq?

Well the kids are obviously black from the sounds of it, so obviously IQ is pretty low.

But honestly I found this hilarious- they were all pretty much telling her this was bullshit, she's obviously a female, asking why they had to learn this shit, and saying their parents would freak the fuck out if they knew. They were making a mockery of her.

Many scientific studies are done by cucked scientists paid off by whichever business/entity to get the results they want to push their product. For every study you can find saying one thing is true, you can find another saying the opposite, so it's hard to decipher. Usually if they're pushing it and there's a culture around how great/cool it is, then it's bad (coffee, alcohol, porn, etc).

Personally I have never drank coffee, but do occasionally have some green tea. As you said- everything in moderation. But if motherfuckers NEED a coffee every morning to wake up/have a good day/be in a good mood/have any energy/not feel like shit etc then that's an addiction my dude.

"Caffeine can impact the adrenal glands by stimulating the production of cortisol, which can lead to increased energy and alertness. However, drinking too much coffee or drinking it too often can cause the body to become overloaded with cortisol, which can overwork the adrenal glands and lead to fatigue and decreased energy levels. This can be especially problematic for people with adrenal fatigue."

In the long term, it makes you more tired and causes you to be dependent on it and need more.
