Make sure you let the gym know the real reason you quit.

When I quit my local gym I told the manager to his face that I didn't like the clientele. Told him they gym used to be different but now it's full of people I don't find appealing. Dude actually understood exactly what I was saying. And when I told him they should charge more for the gym to keep 'those' people out, he agreed but said the decisions were made by their corporate HQ - in San Francisco. Oh. Well then. Enough of that shit.

I went to a church on Easter Sunday. Got me some God. Was a decent enough time, although there was a bunch of guilt-tripping. Heh.

My point is that the pastor asked for people to donate because they were giving the money to the poor people in Myanmar who suffered the big earthquake. And I was thinking "Myanmar? Why not people here in the USA who have suffered just as much (if not more because of the generally elevated quality of life here)?"

I'm not hating on the Myanmarese (or whoever). But I like to see people and organizations who help those close to home - to help keep OUR communities safe and going and healthy. We need to make sure the good communities in the USA thrive.

The Amish (as weird and messed up as they may be for some things) are ultimately good people doing good things and we should be thankful they're here.

I think my Dad would be proud of where I am.

I have a mini drawer set and I like to keep my screws mostly sorted. In addition to that, I have three large plastic bottles (with lids) what have assorted screws and such.

Oh, and I own two houses, Dad. TWO. And they're in better shape than the ONE house you owned when you were my age. Oh, and I'M STILL LIVING IN THE SAME HOUSE AS MY WIFE, Dad. Oh, AND I'M NOT A FUCKING ALCOHOLIC DRINKING 32 OUNCES OF STRAIGHT GIN EVERY NIGHT, Dad.

Granted, I'm not a top-tier attorney, but I do have a rewarding career (which provides plenty of money), AND I ACTUALLY INTERACT WITH MY KIDS ON THEIR LEVEL, Dad.

So yeah. I've got the fucking screws, Dad. And I have MORE TOOLS THAN YOU HAD. And I have... Well, never mind. Let's just say I'm WAY more prepared than you ever were.

I hope you're doing well, wherever you wound up. It's been 7 years and I still celebrate your birthday. And I'll be making a shashlik in your honor this summer (using the same shampre you had made when I was a kid).

Damn I wish you hadn't been such an alcoholic. I still remember trying to talk with you when I was a little little kid and being so confused at how you spoke back to me. For a while it was something of a wondrous mystery. But I soon learned it was just booze. You were too smart for your own good and self-medicated and then got weak and fell in to the trap.

If you remove all of the homosexually inclined people from a population, and then you wait 20 years, you will again have homosexuals.

This is a great write up and it’s very accurate. I’d worry a bit more about the “asians” as it really matters what type they are. Anything but jap is bad and some are very very bad. We’ve got a whole town of jeets here in the SF Bay Area and all the landowners are pissed they have to strip the sheetrock before renting their apartments.

I’m going to look in to a tool which can condense this search in to a single step.
