Seppos like me don't know Australian names of significance, but I would suggest traditional British names: William, Robert, Edward, Henry, Charles, James, John. Perhaps anglicized Welsh or Irish names. Bring back Bruce.

No objects, geography, verbs, or professions. No Leaf, Ridge, Hunter, Taylor. No goofy spelling ay, ai aei, iy, eay etc. Pick something that has been a name for hundreds of years.

Been fishing most weekends lately, and went dove hunting yesterday morning. Going again this evening. Going skeet shooting later this month with colleagues.

Once I started boozing in my 20s, I stopped hunting and fishing. That was dumb. Outdoor sports are way more fun and fulfilling.

That's why I turned back to faith in the scriptures ... I became aware of biblical evil, which I thought was as crazy as being swallowed by a fish and surviving, is very real and more obvious today than ever before.

I'm still skeptical of Jonah's story, but of the bible's evils I have no doubt.
