remember This man as transportation secretary, during the biggest transportation emergency in the history of the world, took 4 months off for "maternity" leave for his adopted gay union child and then went awol and could not be reached even by phone (later found out he was at the beach)

His inability to manage the shipping and trucking issue (which had a VERY simple fix) fucked up the entire world as those ships got caught in US ports and could not service the rest of the downstream or upstream supply lines. The whole "supply chain failure" was about 60% a direct result of this one action. We're still dealing withthe effects of this one action in the JIT supply lines.


He also took about .5 of that trillion dollar "infrastructure bill for America" and used it for his "roadside security bill" to monitor and proctor even more Americans.

He's never run a business, had a very questionable military history and was a compete failure as a transpo sec and has almost zero realworld experience or foreign policy experience. (the russians and chinese and islamists are gonna love this guy)

The USA is currently MASSIVELY in debt and there is no more money coming in. Full stop.

No one is buying the stellar Y auctions anymore(the fed debt bonds that funds almost ALL of USA deficit spending.... What is being sold is being bought by the Fed itself to keep things afloat) And a lot of the countries (UK, Chyna, Japan, France) are cashing in early to keep their own econns a float.


Current Top line item numbers are:

-32 Trillion in Sovereign bonds that need payed back (the Yt bonds e.i. trade deficit)
-30 trillion in current Social Security obligations (yearly)
-20 to 60 Trillion in Shadow debt (this is Jannet Yellens/Fed's "extraordinary mressures" that kept the biden econn afloat, but know one really knows how much there is...)
-120 Trillion (yearly) MORE needed for Social Security starting in about 4 months as Gen X starts to age in the system (and that money is just plain not there and there is no plan yet to fund it.... the sovereign fund maybe?)

With allthe hand wringing that will start on Monday...just remember a few things.

-GDP 5-ish trillion a year

-Current SS entitlements- 32 trillion

-Current national sovereign debt -32-ish trillion (and absolutely noone is buying the YT1 bonds anymore)

-There may be another 30 Trillion in Shadow debt(credit default swaps) from jannet yellen's "extraordinary measures" We'll know about Monday afternoon/Tuesday monring.

-Gen X hits the SS bank starting in about six months and goes over then next 36 months. Adding another 100-120 Trillion on top of current social security obligations. (and the money is simply not there)

-Current interest payments alone on the debt is 128 Billion every three months.



When everyone whines about whats happening... just reminded them -160 Trillion in debt. and ask: "how would you solve this problem?"

Had to stop everything to provide "housing as a right" that gave us project housing (that most have already been torn down)

"Education is a human right" that gave us ebonics, and prison schools.

So , there is lots of hand wringing and outrage at the US cutting budgets. But there is little understanding as to the why of it all.

What is not being talked about (and should be the top convo) is the 60 trillion in debt the US is in. This is money that is simply NOT THERE. The us has been spending monies it does not have. Full stop.

People don't seem to realize this and seem to think all the services and goods they enjoy comes free? I'm not sure how people don't get this.


So the rough numbers break down: (we can argue all day long on exact numbers and sources, but this is how it breaks down)

32 trill in sovereign swap debt (contrary to popular belief money is NOT just printed out of thin air) This is fed monies.

Another 30 trill is hidden "shadow" debt. Moneys that have been shuffled off or run through NGOS that are 'technically' out side of the federal budget process, but still has to be accounted for. No one is really sure what this number is, but best guess is around 30 trill.

About 100 trillion in "unfunded" mandates. Things like medicare and social security. These funds have already been looted and there is not near enough money to cover the next few years of obligations. There are also Treaty payout. Folks don't know things like the marshal plan and WW I payouts are sometimes still in effect. The last marshal plan payment was like in 2010, Climate change obligations like the now defunk paris deal, or the Oslo accords. the US had to pay massively and not in equal amounts to the rest of the world.
Etc..


So long story short. THERE IS NO MONEYS LEFT.

Full Stop.

AND there is starting to be a MASSIVE interest payment on these "borrowed" monies. It's now 120 Billion every quarter, in interest alone. How does that work long term?



These cuts have to happen and frankly the folks managing it are the exact people we want managing it.

This is what a "medium hard" landing looks like. This is called "austerity" (remember that word from a few years ago????) We missed the opportunity for a "soft landing" a few years back and still are on the brink of a VERY "HARD landing"

The reports of fleets of "car sized" objects flying about buzzing airports, police, radar and mil bases is seriously off the hook. The blue ball at the UK airport a few days back is also very interesting.


So, I hope it turns out to be a "signs" type situation. Something the locals can use their AKs against the invaders and this doesn't turn out to be a "Battle of LA" type situation, or even worse a "Skyline" type situation.
