The world's first openly gay imam has been killed after he was shot in a drive-by shooting after allegedly officiating a Lesbian wedding. 

Muhsin Hendricks, 57, was ambushed in his car on Saturday morning while he was travelling in the South African city of Gqeberha. 

The Muslim cleric ran a mosque in Cape Town which was intended to be a safe haven for LGBTQ Muslims. 

His Al-Ghurbaah Foundation, which runs the Masjidul Ghurbaah mosque in the Wynberg suburb of Cape Town, confirmed he had died in a targeted attack on Saturday morning, BBC News reported.

Shocking CCTV footage from the attack showed a car pulling up to block a vehicle in which Mr Hendricks was a passenger.

A person then leaves the car and shoots multiple times into the backseat. 

Unconfirmed reports claim that Mr Hendricks was killed after he had officiated at a lesbian wedding. 

In a statement local police said: 'Two unknown suspects with covered faces got out of the vehicle and started firing multiple shots at the vehicle.'

His death has sent shockwaves through the LGBTQ community across the world.

Mr Hendrick came out as gay in 1996 in a move which shocked the Muslim community in South Africa and the wider world.

Julia Ehrt, executive director at the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (Ilga), called on the authorities to thoroughly investigate 'what we fear may be a hate crime'. 

She also paid tribute to Mr Hendricks describing his life as being 'a testament to the healing that solidarity across communities can bring in everyone's lives'.

Mr Hendrick came out as gay in 1996 in a move which shocked the Muslim community in South Africa and the wider world.

That year he also founded the The Inner Circle, an organisation providing support and a safe space for queer Muslims seeking to reconcile their faith and sexuality.

He then went on to open the inclusive Masjidul Ghurbaah mosque in Cape Town - which is described as a 'a safe space in which queer Muslims and marginalised women can practice Islam'.

Mr Hendricks was the subject of a documentary in 2022 called The Radical, in which he said about the threats he faced: 'The need to be authentic was greater than the fear to die.' 

Post-apartheid South Africa is a trailblazer in the field of LGBTQ rights after the country became the first in the world to to protect people from discrimination because of their sexual orientation.

In 2006 the country became the first and only African country to legalise same-sex marriage. 

Opinion polling has consistently show strong support among South Africans for LGBTQ people. 

Despite this, members of the community still face discriminations and the country also has one of the highest murder rates in the world. 

Stigma against LGBTQ people have also remained high amongst South Africa's 1.6million Muslims.

"But we calculated that the risk involved in giving terrorists a bunch of cash was worth it if only it meant that one poor Palestinian kid might question their gender identity or sexuality someday."

"Everything we gave to Hamas was by the book," echoed Representative Ilhan Omar. "How could we possibly foresee the unintended consequences of sending large amounts of money to a terror organization and it ending up fueling more terror attacks? No one could have predicted that."

In the latest auditing of USAID dollars going to Gaza's ruling terrorist group and affiliated charities, analysts found a $1.3 million grant for a program called Destabilizing Cis-hetero Amatonormativity Through Interpretive Dance, as well as line items for direct shipments of large pallets of cash clearly marked ‘Please Use For Gay Training, Do Not Use For More Terror Attacks.'

At publishing time, USAID stated in its official press release that it was standard practice to give millions of dollars to all sorts of terror groups all over the world and that the money they gave to Hamas was in no way outside of organizational norms.

A school district in Arlington, Virginia, has announced that it will implement "sex offender screening" after a convicted pedophile identified as "transgender" to gain access to the girls' locker rooms at multiple area schools.

At a school board meeting last week, parents clashed over the gender self-identification policy, with some arguing that it wasn't to blame for the incident.

This is despite the fact that Richard Cox only had to claim he was a "woman" to be allowed in to the girls' facilities.

The woke-scolds running ESPN threw a temper tantrum on Wednesday over President Trump’s efforts to keep men out of women’s sports — and boy, oh boy, did it not end well for them.

While “reporting” on the president’s executive order designed to restore fairness in sports by preventing trans-identifying males from competing against female athletes, the Disney-owned sports media company went out of its way to regurgitate tenants of leftists’ asinine and dangerous gender ideology. In a tweet linking to an article detailing Trump’s order, ESPN described males as “people who were biologically assigned male at birth.”

“President Donald Trump will sign an executive order Wednesday designed to prevent people who were biologically assigned male at birth from participating in women’s or girls’ sporting events,” the tweet reads.

The linked article also used the phrase “assigned male at birth” to describe human males.



In its piece, ESPN hyperbolically claimed that Trump’s new directive “marks another aggressive shift by the Republican president’s second administration in the way the federal government deals with transgender people and their rights.” The outlet also gave credence to the false premise that individuals can change their sex by referring to track athlete Sadie Schreiner — a woman-pretending man — as a “transgender woman.”

The outlet further attempted to downplay the dangers of physically superior males competing against female athletes, claiming that “in many cases, the states introducing a ban on transgender athletes could not cite instances when their participation was an issue” and “the actual number of transgender athletes seems to be almost immaterial.”

The sports company’s latest promotion of left-wing radicalism quickly generated well-deserved mockery from numerous public figures.

Federalist Editor-in-Chief Mollie Hemingway wrote on X, “Being male or female is not a function of being ‘assigned’ something at birth, you idiots. Your propaganda terms are dangerous.”

Former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines — a major proponent of fairness in girls’ sports — similarly derided the left-wing sports outlet, noting that the phrase “‘people who were biologically assigned male at birth’ is the most inefficient way to say ‘men.’”

“They’re called ‘men’ and ‘boys,’” Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon wrote in a tweet responding to ESPN. “Trump will get this right in his order. And that’s why we elected him, by the way.”

Federalist CEO Sean Davis blasted the “delusional freaks” at ESPN for regurgitating “low-IQ commie talk from morons. Doctors don’t ‘assign’ genitals or y-chromosomes,” Davis added.

Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala. — a former college football coach — wrote on X, “Didn’t ESPN get the memo? The days of woke gender identity politics are OVER.”

“There’s no such thing as ‘people who were biologically assigned male at birth.’ They are men. And allowing them to compete against women is wrong,” the senator added.

“If only there were a word to describe ‘people who were biologically assigned male at birth,’” Daily Wire Senior Editor Cabot Phillips wrote in a tweet quoting ESPN’s post.

As President Donald Trump was taking office earlier this month, a Border Patrol agent was shot and killed during a traffic stop in Northern Vermont. According to a report by Andy Ngo in the New York Post, this was just one killing in an intricate web of deaths across the nation connected to a violent transgender cult.

“Witnesses, contacts, and journalists trying to reveal who the members are and where they may be are at risk of violence,” Ngo told The Federalist. “I hope law enforcement does anything and everything it can to dismantle this terror group.”

Teresa “Milo” Conseulo Youngblut, a female student at the University of Washington who identifies as transgender, is accused in the shooting death of Border Patrol Agent David Maland, an Air Force veteran, on the side of a highway near the Canadian border on Jan. 20. Agents returned fire, killing Youngblut’s companion, German national Felix “Ophelia” Bauckholt, a man who identified as a woman. 

While investigating Youngblut and Bauckholt’s Toyota Prius, authorities found ammunition clips, a ballistic helmet, hollow-point ammo, lodging information, night-vision goggles, pistols, radios, and “a dozen electronic devices, some of which were wrapped in foil,” according to the New York Post. 

The vehicle had North Carolina plates. Youngblut and Bauckholt had previously lived in the same North Carolina neighborhood, according to KRON 4. “The thing that struck me the most was that there was a stretcher in the living room,” the owner of Bauckholt’s former unit told the local outlet. “The hair on the back of my neck is still up.”

The suspects’ guns had been purchased by a “person of interest” in unsolved murders — Michelle Jacqueline Zajko, who identifies as “trans” and “nonbinary,” according to the Post. Zajko’s parents, Rita and Richard, were mysteriously killed in Pennsylvania two years ago.

Zajko had purchased land in Vermont close to the deadly shooting, and has connections to a cult led by a man named Jack LaSota, who claims to be a woman and has gone by the nickname “Ziz” as well as the name Andrea Phelps. The Newport Dispatch, an independent local outlet, reported that Bauckholt became involved with the “Zizians” in 2023. Youngblut’s parents had reported her missing in May last year, telling police they lost contact and that she was in a controlling relationship.

Youngblut had filed a marriage application in November with 22-year-old Maximilian Bentley Snyder, who graduated from the same high school and went by “any pronouns,” according to The New York Post. According to ABC 7, police arrested him on Jan. 17 for murdering 82-year-old Curtis Lind in Vallejo, Calif. Lind was slated to testify against “Zizians” who allegedly attacked him in 2022, Ngo reported.

“Three young adults” had attacked Lind, on whose Vallejo property they were squatting, on Nov. 13, 2022, according to a GoFundMe set up for the victim’s family. Lind shot and killed one of the assailants. “He miraculously survived being stabbed multiple times, had a sword impaled through his chest and ultimately lost his right eye,” the GoFundMe post said. 

Lind’s attackers were reportedly followers of “Ziz,” and the elderly man was preparing to testify against them when Snyder allegedly slit his throat.

The “Zizians” are “highly educated trans vegan ‘rationalists’ who hold fringe, esoteric ideological beliefs about transhumanism and animal rights,” Ngo wrote in the New York Post. Leader Jack LaSota — “Ziz” — is “accused of influencing followers to kill.” 

According to the Post, LaSota has a warrant for his arrest out of Delaware County, Pa., the area where Zajko’s parents were found mysteriously dead. He apparently faked his own death in San Francisco Bay in 2022, in what Ngo reported was likely an attempt “to try to escape the law.”

Ngo, a journalist who exposes violent left-wing extremists, has been trying to sound the alarm since “multiple members of the cell are still at large,” he said on X, adding that he spoke with the FBI.

“I don’t know if the FBI has a grasp really of the seriousness of this case, because there are individuals who are at large who have access to weapons and may be potentially dangerous,” Ngo said in a video he posted to X.
