Thankfully these days it's easy to connect your PC to a TV and a controller. Still though I really thought consoles would get rid of this requirement. Last time I was online on a console in 2017 or so a lot of the multiplayer lobbies were dead unless it was a major title. It's insane to me they are doubling down on this scam.
