I have noticed that Archive is blocking some Western countries. When I tried to connect by Russian IP, there was no connection problem. This looks illogical. Why would Archive, a Western site, block some Western countries, but allow Russia to connect?
The address is archive.ph. Other addresses have no connection problems.
They block any proxy, vpn or Tor connection they manage to identify as such.
Because they're in the business of tracking dissenters, and collecting information on where they source their information and where they share it. Can't do that very well if you let your targets hide their IPs.
