Huts and teepees were cool when there was a community. Sitting in a broke down truck (parts inflation) alone in the woods with your cans of beans isn't much of a life.
BLM has restrictions on unlimited camping and most of the time require fees.
Unless you aren't paying any property taxes...you're just renting that $5000 land. And then when they want to develop that land, they'll give you a check for $500 and a boot up the ass.
I don't disagree we could live without all the shit, but the alternative doesn't seem very feasible either.
