My wife has a scar on her cheek from being shot in the face by her brother with a 1970’s Indian bow and arrow toy. If it had been two inches higher, she might have died.
It was her own fault. Brother in law removed the stopper to see if he could stick it in some styrofoam, which my wife held in front of her face. She lowered the target to ask why it was taking him so long to shoot. My father in law broke all the arrows and the bow.
The story in now family legend. Those were the days of deadly toys, and they’ll never come back.
