I had a much milder version of this get played on me one time - I noticed my live in gf had started packing up some of her things, hidden but obviously meant to be found in the walk in closet. When I asked wtf was going on, she said she didn't actually want to leave, but had pulled the packing up bit so I would "take her seriously" with various petty demands she had been making (one of which was she insisted on having her cat's litter box in the bedroom, which I did not allow. Fucking disgusting).
She was picking her things up off the porch by the end of that day. Dumb cunt.
