Thanks! You should've seen everything we had to do last year to just get to the free soil. Old field grass roots ran 6 to 8 inches into the ground. Had to plow twice, lol

I've been working on turning mine from hard ass clay for a long time with compost, sand, hay, horse and cow manure. Once you get it though, the benefits are worth it. It gets easier to till every year. That first year I tilled, my tiller was bouncing like a basketball. lol

I have like 5 trees total on 14 acres, lol. Which is precisely why we choose this plot. Lots of good usable land.

well of course not, you can't just throw raw hookers in your garden, you have to compost them first. Sheesh.
