Bullshit. That is not how Vaccine Passports will work.
Right now I have the freedom to leave my home whenever I want. If I get a Vaccine Passport, then I will only be able to leave my home if and when my passport allows.
- Your VPass (Vaccine Passport) will be used to log when you leave your home.
- Your VPass will log what areas and businesses you enter for contact tracing of "new variants".
- Your VPass won't allow you to enter a business. It will restrict which businesses you can enter, if any.
- Your VPass will be used to determine when and if you are allowed to leave your home, and where and when you can travel.
An example - If yesterday you visited Bobby's Boom Sticks, or if you visited Walmart between the hours of 4 and 5pm, or if you were within 50' of someone suspected of having a Covid variant - Your VPass will be rejected if you scan it at a restaurant and you won't be allowed in. Or it'll alert the authorities if you go more than 20' from your home. Or your door will automatically lock, and scanning your VPass won't unlock it for 2 weeks to ensure self isolation.
Of course, any person or business can be accused of coming into contact with a Covid variant. If you step out into your backyard - Well, your neighbor's cousin's friend's coworker's uncle was at Sammy's Steakhouse last week. And someone else who visited the steakhouse had a questionable Covid variant test. So now your VPass won't allow you to leave your home.
VPasses won't give you the freedom to do what you want. Instead they will restrict you to only doing what the passport allows.
It'll be similar to a regular traditional travel passport. A regular passport doesn't allow you to enter other countries. Passports log who has entered and left the country. And they stop people with the wrong passports from entering the country.
