Of course. You have state media outlets like Fox News and 60 minutes running stories about it in the past week. Little Marco Rubio has requested the Pentagon declassify and deliver a report to the Senate in about a month. Why now? Is it simply to maintain an atmosphere of constant fear and anxiety, or is going to be a push for globalization as the only possible weapon against an existential, extraterrestrial threat? I'm fairly certain it's the latter, and they needed a better puppet in the white house, as well as a populace that's been sufficiently softened by a fake pandemic, to trust the government and the scientists to have a chance at pulling this lie off.

I have moved over to the rare earth hypothesis camp. Where there are only a few planets capable of supporting life and fewer that have developed intelligent societies like ours.

The only wrench thrown in it is what Bill Cooper said about aliens coming from alternate dimensions/universes.
