I just realized the people that claim NASA’s EmDrive is impossible are mentally retarded.

EmDrive Naysayers: EmDrive needs a propulsive force to exist even though quantum fields are measured in terms of electron volts rather than impulse force requiring mass exchange with massless particles.

Also EmDrive Naysayers: Solar Sails work without impulse force because quantum fields are measured in terms of electron volts rather than impulse force requiring mass exchange with massless particles.

Space is fake and NASA is gay.
Propulsion is impossible in a (fake) vacuum.

this is demonstrably false, and physics are happy to show you why. remember physics are rules expressed by what has been observed. the vacuum is irrespective as laws of matter still apply, though they are observed differently. the video cited here observes a parallel of physics wherein equal and opposite forces occur. a pressure vessel can hold x amount of pressure. in the case of the soda can the pressure has equalized wherein thru mitigation of the material (aluminum can and co2) has equaled the pressure enacted by the atmosphere. when the vacuum occurs, the pressure on the inside of the vessel becomes greater than the pressure forcing it inward (atmospheric pressure) and thus structurally the aluminum gives way.

you can do the same thing by smashing a soda can with a hammer, or shooting it with a gun. the internal pressure once the vessel is ruptured is greater at that point than the pressure enacted by atmospheric forces, which is why it "explodes" outward. there's some kinetic energy in that equation as well, but the principals remain.

The drawback of EmDrive is, even if it works, it needs a shitton of energy to proper itself with pretty much nothing. Even magnetoplasma drives are a hog and they do have a propellant.

Fuck NASA

I think where our great awakening will occur will be in particles, particle acceleration, and quantum physics. once we can generate a large enough entanglement to particles in space to the particle accelerator at CERN, we will theoretically be able to force particles beyond the speed of light, once the resistive energy of the entangled particles works against the accelerated particles. but don't take my word for it.

EmDrive doesn't work, source: all the tests so far

[ - ] Goatboy [op] 0 points 4 yearsMay 27, 2021 20:09:33 ago (+0/-0)*

Not all the tests. Most of the tests showed it probably does work, which is why it kept getting more tests. The so-called definative test, showed that EmDrive doesn't use propellant so therefore it doesn't follow the propellent rules of newtonian mechanics, which requires mass exchange between particles with actual mass- the fucking morons. They are correct. It doesn't use propellant with mass. The same morons are fine with massless particle momentum exchange propulsion from an external source such as solar sails. But the fucktards balk at the idea of a massless particle momentum exchange propulsion from an internal source such as a microwave generator.

Last time I checked there were only measurements errors, no thrust. Some chinese(?) tests even proved the errors were reproducible and that no thrust is actually produced when it's accounted for.

Even if massless propulsion is a thing the EmDrive is still a tin can.

The no thrust report is the most suspicious result of all and proves that reporter a fraud. Differential heating would result in some ultra tiny but still measurable acceleration regardless of anything else the EmDrive might or might not do. The claim of nothing is retarded to anyone who’s taken a first semester thermodynamics class. If they had claimed ultra small radiative related acceleration that would be impractical in space, that would be reasonable, but no or worse 0 is a retarded report. Whoever put that out should lose their professional engineering license.
