Another intellectual masturbation post.

What you should look into is gravity manipulation. Something to do with high voltage electricity running throufh a torroidal drive. I believe a retured Nasa dude once wrote a manual on UFOs and how they could operate using conventional physics, no need for a new science. Essentially they create an independent gravity field that emanates from the ‘engine’ of the craft.

I wrote about this a while back. The math is: Lim r→∞ (GM₁M₂)/r² = 0 In other words, if you can increase the relevant radius between any two masses, then you will decrease the gravitational force between those objects. Energy bends gravity. If you can project two non-interacting energy waves in between the space of any two masses, then the effective radius between those objects will increase proportional to the amplitude of the two waves, which results in a proportional decrease in the effective gravititional force between the objects. If you can make the amplitude high enough and keep the waves in phase with each other so they don't interact, then you can reduce the effective gravitational force between the two objects a not insignificant amount.

Borax babe! Where you been, mun? Rumour has it that after the Great Collapse you sought solace in an Ashram in Tibet! And now you're home! Are...are you pleased to see me too?

For REAL now, not just LIBERAL "redifine the terms whenever we WANT".

The problem is much older than that ('that' here being muh Liberals): the current confusion with trying to apply both wave and particle physics actually stems from Phillip Lenard. As you probably well know, trying to apply statistics to causal phenomena is a thoroughly jewish endeavor, and these issues combined are why there have been no new major scientific discoveries, or inventions based on these discoveries (real, not theoretical), in nearly 50 years.

Photons are massless in transit. Because wave particle duality, or something.

A thin sheet of anything reflective will reflect "massless" photons and gain momentum.

I have this flashlight that if you shake it, like you're beating off, it lights up. Is this what you are looking for?

Holy shit. I just realized I described a reverse photovoltaic such as tritium alloy, or electromagnetic waves inducing photon release. If we could get a high energy particle release we could produce high acceleration potential. It would likely be outside visible spectrum range.

Not the same as what you are asking for but similar...
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biefeld%E2%80%93Brown_effect
(The article is not accurate, its not ion wind... just use the effect name as a point of research)
High voltage combined with asymmetrical magnetic fields seem to produce thrust similar in some respects to NASAs recent 'impossible drive'

TT Browns Paris experiment proved it works in a vacuum, so again, not ion wind.

Depending on whether or not you consider light to be made of massless particles (it isn't, but some believe it is), then light hitting any surface satisfies your conditions.

When light hits a surface, it exerts a pressure. When the light is reflected (vs. absorbed), the pressure is doubled: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radiation_pressure

Fun fact: light must be massless, because it travels at the speed of light. But then, light cannot be massless, because mass is required to impart momentum, which we know light does in the phenomena of Radiation Pressure. .... Whoops.

It takes 300 megawatts of power to create one joule of force. You can make a photon drive, sure. It just needs more power than we’re able to create.

[ - ] Goatboy [op] 1 point 3.9 yearsMay 29, 2021 08:57:55 ago (+1/-0)

F=ma and m= E/c^2

In other words, Newtonian force conceptions don’t work for massless particle systems like solar sails and quantum propulsion models wouldn’t make sense in terms of force or joules.

[ - ] Tallest_Skil 0 points 3.9 yearsMay 29, 2021 14:40:20 ago (+0/-0)

If you want to generate electricity out of the quantum foam, then sure, you can have a working photon drive (with a max speed of .333c), sure. You have to prove that’s possible first though.

[ - ] paul_neri 1 point 3.9 yearsMay 28, 2021 07:13:10 ago (+1/-0)

I'm sticking with the Helical engine.

[ - ] Artificial_Intelligentile 0 points 3.9 yearsMay 28, 2021 11:15:17 ago (+0/-0)

you mean like Tesla used electrical forcefields to harvest the pressure that was exerted on earths magnetic field by the sun wind?

[ - ] paul_neri 0 points 3.9 yearsMay 28, 2021 06:52:58 ago (+0/-0)

What exactly are you proposing to do, bro?

[ - ] Goatboy [op] 1 point 3.9 yearsMay 28, 2021 06:57:09 ago (+1/-0)*

After posting I realized I inadvertently stumbled on something analogous to reverse photovoltaic quantum propulsion. If we find a radio luminescent meta material like some exotic tritium alloy, it might be possible to induce high acceleration potential quantum propulsion.

[ - ] paul_neri 3 points 3.9 yearsMay 28, 2021 07:00:30 ago (+3/-0)

"exotic tritium alloy" - have you tried Home Depot?

[ - ] Goatboy [op] 1 point 3.9 yearsMay 28, 2021 07:04:51 ago (+1/-0)*

Any radio luminescent influenced material would likely work, but if we’re optimizing for high impulse potential, tritium family of alloys seemed like a good place to start.

Another possible Avenue would be directing Cherenkov radiation to induce acceleration.

Well I was thinking along the same lines. Who's going to pay for all this? Presumably you?
