Too true. Im all for a return to the past version of the internet. A place where you could say and post anything non malware you want and give no fucks. Twitter and their ilk dont want that and only pander to the notion when they are treated the way they treat others.

"The media" encloses twitter links in almost every article. The idea is to make people think that twitter IS the internet. They're so far gone in their own delusions they really think the rest of the internet isn't going to kill them. It's killing them now.

It's no more than a couple of days old.
I could've sworn that Nigeria banned twitter a few years ago though so maybe they unbanned it or I'm thinking of another African country.
