Not well. Those games were purposely gimped solely to allow that generation of consoles to run them. Anything is possible to run on shit hardware if you’re willing to compromise the content and quality of what’s running.
Most PCs at the time only had 1-2 gb of ram. Assets are loaded in and out seamlessly as you play. That's why you are able to walk from one point of the world to the other without a load screen, but when you fast travel it has one because it needs time to swap out all the assets in the scene from the hard drive. Hard drive + ram make the large open worlds possible. Still pretty impressive.
Lower settings,fewer assets,and knowing exactly what hardware it'll be running on. A lot of processing power goes into "pretty graphics" which is why the PC stats are higher.
