Fun fact: Doctors no longer swear a Hippocratic oath.
Medical associations got rid of that practice long ago, after methodically trashing and undermining it as "no longer adequate" and such.
If they still swore that oath, they would have to break it all the time, to terminate the lives of unborn children, cut into and distort the human body for cosmetic purposes, provide young women with the daily means to chemically castrate themselves, mutilate healthy genitals to replace them with gaping wounds, or for any number of other routine "medical" activities performed today.
"Do no harm" has not been observed in decades, in spirit or practice.
