I won't speak to all vehicles, but the tacoma line is amazing. One of the few vehicles almost entirely made and sourced in the United States. They have some overflow from too much demand that spilled into mexico, I want to say about 1/5th are assembled in mexico using american made parts and steel. When buying a tacoma, get a serial number that starts with 5, it was made in Texas, the ones starting with a 3 were made in mexico. Most will start with a 5, but it's worth checking. All the frames were redone in third generation to be made of super steel with exotic materials, venadium and parts that make the strongest steel ever, which doesn't rust. They had to retool their whole factorys to accomodate because it's harder to drill through and much harder to shape. They're badass trucks built to last and the TRD off-road & TRD pro are actually made for offroading, it's not just a fucking sticker. Rear locking diff, crawl control, kevlar-lined tires to not burst when all weight is balanced on 2 wheels on a sharp rocks, upgraded bilstein shocks, etc, etc. The aftermarket for these things are great too, so many mods you can do. Kelley Bluebook and vehicle ratings companies nick named it the "king tuna" it has the highest resale value of all production vehicles on the planet, of every category. Small, midsize trucks, full size trucks, SUV, vans, sport cars, sedans, etc, tacoma beats every category for resale value because they don't fucking die.

Look into the attention to detail toyota puts into producing their product. They use different materials and manufacturing techniques for different regions. It is a very well made product.
