go check out any post on /r/coronavirus. there is an unspoken protocol, a dogma if you will. all titles must be responded to by saying why people did or did not die because of adherence to pseudoscientific rituals.

for example if people die that's because they didn't wear masks and social distance and watched Fox News. but if people didn't die that is obviously only because they wore masks and got vaccinated. this is true even when the facts of the matter are dubious at best.
