I've known one, and he was both an exceptional coder and business analyst. He was originally from Belize -- which I'd never even heard of before I met him -- and I've since learned that all of the smart ones get schooling and then get the hell out that shithole country.

I also worked with a half black-half chink controller who had exceptional business sense and people skills. He was also lazy as fuck. You can guess which attributes came from which parent.

It's not that there aren't any smart and skilled niggers out there. It's just that most are dumb as shit.

Do you know who else can't code worth shit? Chicks. The only good ones I've even known were at Uni and I bet they stayed in academia. Over the years I've hired my share of programmers and without an exception every single chick ended up doing support or heading up some BS vanity project like ISO 9000.

The last place I worked the controller wanted to bring on someone he'd worked with at a bank to help with a big system upgrade we were planning. I didn't know her so said ok but insisted on final say after a 30 day trial. It was clear within a few days that she knew nothingNOTHING about IT except how to impress senior mgmt in meetings. I stopped taking her to meetings with vendors because she'd hijack the meeting to talk about her accomplishments which were so obviously BS that even the sales reps, who would normally suck up to any decision maker, were rolling their eyes. It came to a head about 2 weeks in when she proposed to mgmt that we switch to VMs for the new servers and sold it as her idea. I'd been researching VMs for several months -- this was when VMs were still novel -- but hadn't decided whether I was going to present it as an alternative yet. Anyhow that was the final straw and she was outta there.
