I'm playing Assassin's Creed 4 right now, for reasons. Other than the SJW initial statement, it is really cool. You have to kill self-proclaimed progressives that want to destroy the concept of nation-states (Knights Templar).
Regardless of true history, the game makes the Knights Templar a bunch of Commie globohomo progressives (which I found surprising because they are your primary enemy). I guess they were kind of forced to alter history because there was no real-world organization called "Assassins Creed."
E: And Catholics are misled if they support this current Anti-Christ pope, which they kind of are required to do.
E2: Also, didn't at least one pope order the rounding up and purging of the Knights Templar? Don't have enough time before sleep to do minor research.
Pope Clement V. He issued a papal bull to have all of the European kings arrest the templars. But he was heavily pressured to do so by The French King Phillip. He had apparently amassed massive debts with Knights Templar in his war against Britain, so saw a chance to wipe the debt out once and for all.
