Unpopular opinion: Masks are cheap now and a very good way to keep bugs out of their mouth.

I use a mask at night when bike riding for that very reason (a modified mask - took the inner filter out and just use the mesh layers for the bugs)

Edit: LMAO at all faggots that never get off their asses and ride bikes. Bugs are a thing.

i've seen those masks on bikers for many years here in Canada. No way i would be riding anything around here with out anything infront of my face. I prefer a windshield, but each their own.

Yeah, I was going to say that it made sense that he would cover his mouth, but there's still a huge portion of his eyes and face exposed. Then again, the distance from where he's headed and where he's coming from is also a factor. I've known people that could practically drive a motorcycle blindfolded and still pick up food from the drive thru and then get back home fine.
