I was given spotify as a gift so I gave it a listen. Lots of pozzed stations. "Pride", "Regional Mexican", "EQUAL"... ok, so I guess you are supposed to listen to your herritage music. Fine by me. I search "Scottish" and the first thing that pops up is "Scottish war music".

Fuck yes. I am at home blasting bagpipes right now.

Tidal is just as bad, if it makes you feel any better. I've been listening almost exclusively to metal and chillwave on there for several years, and it still tries to get me to listen to coon tunes by constantly showing them in suggestions and radio stations. Bullshit.

I do not like spotify and agree, they fucking suck. I am glad I posted because I didn't realize there was a free version of the tech.

Spotify has a great algorithm if you listen to music you like. The stations based on songs are usually good and discover weekly is sometimes bangin.
