Sorry, didn't watch the video but if goal is privacy obviously using your own server as a VPN won't work.

But if some other reason, maybe.

you could combine a vpn with tor.

if you really need top secret think outside the box. one idea would be to just use a strangers computer so nothing leads back to you. but then security cameras everywhere and satellites watching the earth at all times. If they tied it back to someones computer but there were a record of you at that location they still got you.
... I've never had a need to be THAT guaranteed secure but these are the things i wonder about.

AWS logs no activity. Digital Ocean does not log activity. iWeb logs no activity. They also don't have an NSA endpoint attached.
