I remember this shit from 20 ish years ago, when my white, suburban crime free school banned backpacks because of a few high profile shootings. And this was the days before school issued tablets was a thing and we had 5 to 8 heavy textbooks we had to lug to and from school each day. The parents kucked up wnough of a fuss to allow the stupid mesh backpacks. This is so stupid like in all this time has this backpack policy ever prevented any of these so called "school shootings"?
