That's what I was saying. A private company doesn't have a military, but like anything else, it's all politics. Pfizer is buddy buddy with the U.S. government and other super power governments like China. If a small foreign governments doesn't play along then Pfizer can have larger more powerful governments put them on the bad list, i.e. sanctions, trade agreements, future bailouts, loans, etc.
Not that it takes most politicians any real motivation, but this would make perfect sense of extreme eagerness of every individual politician to meet extreme targets like they are commission sales people. Can’t help but wonder if Australia may actually have in Contract some amazing concessions they have a greed to make if they don’t hit benchmarks Pfizer made for them.
