I've got an ever bearing blueberry and I can't get it to stay happy. It pines and turns weird colors.

Check pH and water saturation/drainage.
50-80% sun.
Most also need a chill factor over winter to get the flowers than warmth to turn into fruit.
Different varieties for different climates.

More than just vaporizing them, they erased them from freaking history. If it weren't for the survivors we'd have no idea that there were 6 million more Jews before WW2. The population surveys of the time even changed.
