He conned his way into their home, murdered them and stole their jewelry. Knowing the second hand jewelry market I doubt he made more than a few hundred bucks per victim.

Allegedly he's the most deadly serial killer in texan history, but I guess they don't want to break that impression that most serial killers are white.
