A company I was at had a programmer I despised. He sucked and thought he was great, which is a terrible combination. I'm very mellow, but I wanted this guy gone.

Luckily, he did it to himself. His code was supposed to drop (delete) some temporary tables in one of the databases. It worked, except it also dropped every other table as well, haha. The company was so nice, the executives would not have fired him except we discovered he tried to cover his tracks.
