That might be true, but we should avoid absolutist thinking. If seeking attention is equivalent to being a whore, then all women are whores, and many men are. It's better to think of whore as representing some degree of attention seeking.
I think one of the painful affects of the internet age is we are seeing a kind of reduction, or distillation, of universal aspects of the human psychology. Without the internet, some of these factors had been 'kept under control' by social forces. The internet breaks down a lot of those pressures, and tends to focus the pure nature of our motivations for acting so that these can be seen by anybody.
Everyone does things for attention. A little girl who strives to do well in her dance recital is doing so for attention. The purpose of the dance itself (as an art form) is to get attention.
What the internet has done is caused people to do this attention-seeking outside of the regular hierarchies. Now it can be just you and a camera and a bedroom. I think this nauseous feeling we get watching someone 'drink from the fountain' like this is that we are looking in a mirror and seeing something fundamental about who we are. We fancy ourselves to be very complex, sophisticated things (especially in the way we think about ourselves). We resist being reduced to some brute impulse/s.
But when you see a million people, good and bad, all chasing the same impulse, going straight to the 'well' of attention with just themselves and their camera, it is scary because it makes us feel like robots.
And on top of this you realize that women have an intrinsic, default way of getting attention that you don't: their bodies and their sexuality. Whereas men generally have to develop some kind of power/ability in order to get the attention they desire, forcing them to specialize. A woman can waltz into any domain where a man is specializing, and she'll steal attention because 'tits'. We tend to resent this.
The internet is just putting a magnifying glass on this tension. For a man to get popular online and get the attention he wants, he has to be funny, really good at something, offer clever insights or analysis, etc. While women can also use those things to increase their competitive edge, they also have the ability to just get in front of a camera with tits.
So think of 'attention' in the abstract sense, like it's the attention of god itself. Now imagine that this attention is a trickle of water coming from the sky, in a desert. There's just one trickle, and everyone on earth is competing to get beneath it for a drink.
A woman with just a camera, herself and her bedroom is like she has a really long straw that she steals the trickle of water with, while you and your buddies have been waiting in line and fighting with all of these other men for position.
You resent it because it's so easy, and such a temptation for people to exploit.
But we need to be clear about what doing this as a whore really is. A pretty girl who wears a flattering outfit and does something on camera is not a whore. She's just using her straw like anybody who has a straw would. Then there are women who will not just 'hint' at their secret, they'll reveal it, stripping the clothes off and giving it away. Don't get me wrong, in the fight for attention people will resent both, but they'll spurn the one who gives her secret away a lot more than the one who doesn't - because the 'whore' devalues herself.
Now think about what that means. She had a straw and got all of the water that everyone wanted, and simultaneously devalued herself. It's like someone betraying god's attention. You made god look at something by tricking him, because he looked and found filth.
A woman who teases is just doing what it is in their nature to do. That's not being a whore. A whore teases and then gives away the secret.

Attention is God (the Eye that sees). Everyone wants God. Women naturally attract God. Men indirectly attract God, by getting what directly attracts God. To do this they must sacrifice. Men resent women for naturally attracting God. Man's tendency is to call all of them whores, but whore refers to women who give away what God values in them, which is the secret that all men die to grasp. When she gives it away freely, she is a whore.
It's pretty difficult to distill these thoughts. The distillation probably creates more confusion than answers.

woman + camera =/= cam whore
According to your logic your mother was a whore in every home movie she appeared in.
