Why are less than 1 percent of voat/talk population 90 percent of the frontpage?

Every post on frontpage is a leafa or big dangus post. Can't you limit their posts on the frontpage @system ? I know you can because I write code. It's not hard. Why is it less than 1 percent of voat/talk population is 90 percent of the frontpage?

It's obvious spam. Kill that shit. I don't want to have to fucking sign in everytime and block them to be able to see other peoples posts. Maybe the site is dead... I dunno. Whatever.

I went through toobaditworks history and unless you've been deleting his content for a while it looks like he only started spamming 24-48 hours ago? I always interrupted the voat spam rule as a ruling against non site users/ site users spamming business promotion or other metro dollar value post.

The copy/pasta spam history only shows comment spam so i am unaware of any post spam that may have slid the front page as spam. I'm of the view that it is unwanted content in a spam format, but not worthy of the banhammer for spam.

Thankful you keep the site going as its one of the last forums were idea are allowed to be discussed. I am drawn here for the sole reason that i am banned on almost every other platform and have to resort to unreasonable means to maintain alt influence. The user will be able to do the same to continue visiting, just as i do at Poal/gab/win/fag and in the end all it did is say you are not welcome here either.

Also, get over the fact that < 1% of users post anything. It's fairly normal and we don't have a large pool of users. So, not a lot of that 1% are going to be power users.

Core audience theory. Within any system you'll have an underlying theme to resonate with. If you tap into content that resonates with people enough time you'll get enough updoots. Generally, this is going to be shitty posts that don't have a lot of substance which people can't find to be too annoying. You could call it the coca-cola of text. If you're looking for updoots and fame it's easier to shotgun low effort posts then actually placing anything of substance on any given board. Also, expect people to do it the easier way by circle jerking each other. There's not much of an audience here, so not much effort needed, but they do have a desire to keep the narrative going in one particular direction.
