A pregnant New Zealand journalist says she turned to the Taliban for help and is now stranded in Afghanistan after her home country prevented her from returning due to a bottleneck of people in its coronavirus quarantine system.
Islam is a purer and superior religious, moral, and political system. It's only flaws are in the people espousing its tenets. I hope that she finds a Muslim husband, converts to Islam, and has 15 more children.
"She went to her partner's native Belgium but couldn't stay long because she is not a resident"
So this feminist, that makes a living going to the middle east and confronting muslims about their treatment of women, prefers going to Taliban controlled Afghanistan than getting married.
The whole reason she left Qatar was because she was pregnant and unmarried.

I think the point to take from this whole account, is that she was denied by her own government, but assisted by terrorists her government spent a decade fighting, everything else is a side story.
Agreed, except New Zealand never went to Afghanistan.
Your point is valid, but so is mine. She could have solved the situation by getting married. Even if it's just for the papers, how valid can a marriage certificate from Qatar or Belgium have been once she is back home? She could be in Europe right now, or have staid at her old job in Qatar.

Yes NZ did, they were a member of the coalition and are a signatory to ANZAC, so if Australia went NZ did too.
"In November 2001 New Zealand committed military assistance to 'Operation Enduring Freedom', a United States-initiated and -led military operation in Afghanistan that ran in parallel to the NATO-led stabilisation operations of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF)."
