Which is why if you're going to go down the route of sort of complying, you may as well go all the way and just build an mg-42 and put the fear of God in them.

The hot new thing is an auto-reset trigger. Bolt forward motion pushes the trigger forward. Finger pressure causes an immediate trigger action to fire one round (still semiautomatic).
