It is, but the pictures they show are with its "hackles up." When the feathers are laying down, it would look much more like a regular eagle. They are about 3 and a half feet tall.

The Australian Wedge Tail Eagle is larger, it can pick up kangaroos and large dogs and just fly away with them.

The redheaded little bastard that played Edmund looked like my twin.

Also Tom Baker as the 'Respectabibble Marshwiggle' was a pretty decent casting.

I watch the show every couple of years. While it's short, its very sweet. Wish they did more. One of those tv shows that made an impact on some of us.
