The Navy has revealed that five sailors – an ensign and four chief petty officers – have been charged with Uniform Code of Military Justice violations over their alleged part in the leak of video footage from last month’s F-35C Lightning II crash aboard the USS Carl Vinson.

The ranks of the charged actually surprised me. Didn't expect an officer at all to be involved. Maybe a young dumb Ensign isn't too much of a stretch, but to have a Senior Chief and some CPOs involved is really surprising.

Fully expected it to be a couple of E-1s - E-3s. Young enlisted kids who don't know any better and who love social media.

The more the military targets and removes its experienced people, the less competent and effective a fighting force the military becomes. Removing these men when they show military incompetence to the world will not make the whores who've been put into cockpits competent pilots or war fighters, but ensure the next hot conflict the US military is involved in will be a spectacular defeat as the psychologically mal-adapted useful idiots are violently culled.

I've heard two stories: One was that it was a female pilot promoted beyond her abilities. The other was that it was a male pilot suffering vaccine side effects.

Who tf knows? The navy does but I doubt we ever will.

I haven't been back here in a few days so I didn't see your reply. I'm not sure the official report but they said it was either a battery fire or one of Scorpion's torpedos went hot and took her down. There are many discrepancies in the story the navy put out with what actually happened. For instance, the navy waited until the day Scorpion was due back in port to put out the SUB MISS message to the entire navy. The thing is, the navy knew 7 days earlier that something was up with Scorpion because she didn't send a message at the scheduled time. Submarines that are in transit send a message at predetermined intervals so the submarine squadron know its still out there. Scorpion failed to do that but the navy sat on that. There's a lot more about it but that's the biggest thing that makes everything the navy say about it a lie in my opinion. I think the Ruskies took her down but we may never know.
