Basically I think it's a good time to learn to fly. That way if you have to go somewhere you can. It's expensive. Probably slower than commercial unless you're loaded. You have to stop for fuel. Not that I know a shitload about aviation, but I know some people that manage it that are not super wealthy so.

I really wish there was some way to pay twice, maybe 3 times what commercial costs and fly out of a small airport and not have to be around niggers. But AFAIK, there's not. It's 150 each way or 5000 bucks an hour; no in between. First class does very little for me. I don't want to go very far, and the time on the plane doesn't bother me. It's really getting to the shithole airport, getting through security, being in the airport with the public, and boarding that I hate.

Also I don't have a spare half million dollars to just buy a plane. I actually have no idea what a small prop plane costs, that's just my ballpark assumption.

You can get a Cesna for ~$150k, source: craigslist.

I know people (well vaguely know) that have gone in like 4 guys on one plane. I don't think they were really using it for travel, though, but just for enjoyment.
