You'd rile them up just with that bit. Obviously in the paradise that is [country name here], there is no starvation, unlike the whole of imperialist nations like America.

In fact, that's one of the retention techniques. During the Mao era in China, for instance, the masses were regularly shown propaganda films depicting Americans as starving and destitute. IIRC they used footage from the Great Depression and stated that all of America looked like that.

Similarly, North Korea regularly shows their masses propaganda films of their troops beating the shit out of Americans on the battlefield.
