Not asking to be rude here, but how old are you?
If you aren't 13 and already picking up Python, you probably aren't actually interested in programming. It's a "self starting" hobby. So, if you haven't started yet, it's probably not for you.

So, whenever someone asks how to start programming, that's a red flag.

But, if you want to try it. Take up the equivalent of Python 101 at your local community college. This will give you some structure in learning and you'll have people to ask questions and the social network you can build from meeting people in real life is valuable, you'll probably land a job from someone you meet.
That will probably be $600, but it's worth it if you know how to milk what you get.

Next, plug away at https://projecteuler.net/ problems.

Find out who is successful and offer to do some free work in exchange for mentorship.

First you need to delete System32

I've been coding successfully for 40 years and this is the first thing I did. I attribute all my success to deleting System32.

1 pick a language

2 build software

3 repeat till you're competent enough to be hired

This is actually the correct answer.

Depends what you want to do. Apps, web, etc. I would suggest JavaScript, react, react native, electron.

Data, machine learning, etc. I would suggest python installed with miniconda.

Use vscode for your environment except when using jupyter.

Check out codecademy, and start doing your own projects after that, and googling anything you run into. It's largely a self-taught skill with lots of resources out there to facilitate that.

If you want to be a good coder, you need to be good at math. Otherwise you can do basic things but your scope will be limited.

Python has a lot of demand and is pretty easy. Work on the problems on leetcode.com and you should be able to pass a technical interview/coding test.

Is that for a beginner?

W3schools.com
Stackoverflow.com

Javascript is easy to learn since it runs in a browser. Its also structured like several other languages, so learning the concepts will help you code other languages as well.

Yeah they have beginner, intermediate, and expert problems. It’s a free platform so it’s worth checking out.
