Old married man joke

Last summer the A/C in my 30 year old pick up quit working. I've putting off getting it fixed, didn't need during the winter. But, this is East TX and today it was in the low 90s. The wife nagged me to get it fixed, said she wouldn't ride in it without A/C. So I went to the local repair shop, run by on old guy (like me). After yakking, telling him I was new to the area, turns out his dad built the house we bought. I told him about the A/C, and that the wife wouldn't ride in the truck without it working. He asked me if I wanted him to give me an outrageous quote or say it was too old to fix, parts no longer available. I do love my wife, I still feel like I won the lottery when I found her, so I got it fixed for what I thought was cheap.

The funny part was when I told the mechanic my wife wouldn't ride in the pickup without A/C, he was giving me the option of not fixing it and not having to take my wife along when I drove the pickup.

A true bro.

I bought two plants at the nursery once and they were quite expensive and I knew the missus would squawk so I asked the owner to cross out the prices and put in a figure that was half the sale price which he did 'cos he's a bro. I paid the full price. Got home and said: "look what I got at half price!" and 'cos my wife loves a bargain she was impressed. A win-win.

It was going to be a very misogynistic, funny joke, but his wife showed up and asked to read it right before he was finishing the post. I can tell by the number of pixels at the end.
