I didn't read the article but I know that Java and surrounding area has the same growing conditions as the Columbian, Ecuadorian,Bolivian and Peruvian regions but Java apparently has richer soil nutrients...it's because of this that the DUTCH WEST INDIES TRADE COMPANY (✡) introduced cocao plants there so that it can be grown and refined closer to the European market...I would still be reluctant to believe that the "marching powder" originated from South America. Many people don't know about the Java source.

There is no way that amount could be done by a few bad employees running their own internal scam. That has to be a corporate level effort and it just happens to be the month they got caught and not the previous months that they've been doing the same thing. That's a large volume.

And in fact that level of volume means that the company has to be tied to somebody like a CIA that is making sure that their routes and distribution networks stay open.
