Scalia called "the right to keep and bare arms" a "privilege". A "privilege" is defined as an act that requires permission to do something that would otherwise be illegal.

You might argue that gun ownership is a right that cannot be taken away without due process, but the government, in all three branches, have clearly said otherwise. A government violating rights is not "treason", but if you resist their violations of rights violently, they will label you a traitor.

The people need to read the DoI and get a real understanding of how to justify watering the trees of liberty because it's watering season and reasonable, rational rhetoric will more likely get you jailed and hung than to bring about change through our government.
