So, my understanding is, if you're a good person, but don't believe in Christ, you're still going to hell. And that, prior to the invitation from Jesus everyone went to hell when they died. Good people went to a good part of hell, at least; it's called the "Elysian Fields". And IDK if they'd be inducted into Satan's army or not; probably not. But still hell.

In my experience, you have to make them acknowledge things out loud. Their problem is they’ve never directly questioned anything after they’ve accepted it by faith, or anyone they consider authority.

You have to find a way to show them that if you accept something as true, THEN go about learning about it, all you’ve done is look for confirmation bias and you haven’t actually studied or even cared about right or wrong during that time.

If they believe the Bible says the relationship with God is a personal relationship and that they are Personally responsible for the commands it gives, make them say that out loud. Then ask them if 100% of their tires went to feed widows and orphans, and when they eventually have to say out loud that it has not, make them say out loud that they know that they have not touched, and that they are not a tither.

However this plays out exactly, They will be uncomfortable enough that they won’t feel confident questioning you, because they know damn well that they are going to continue doing exactly the same thing until their pastor tells them otherwise.

No point reasoning or arguing. Honestly, even if you could convince her, wouldn't you worry she'd kill herself or something? Sometimes people believing in stupid imaginary things is enough to keep them going. As you say, the world is hell.
