That's exactly what I was thinking. He should build the stairs and maybe do the sticker job - assuming she has already had a crack at it and it is like a rego sticker or something with undissolvable glue that you need a razor and brute strength to remove.

She could have cleared the table and started on another job in the time it took to write the list. Unless the fish tank needs a deep clean and water change this list is probably a lot quicker than nagging him to do one of the chores.

Here is the list of reasons:

1. A man should keep track of his own tasks.

2. If you have time to write a fucking novel you have time to clear the table.

3. If you are making me, the man, do the woman’s duty (cleaning shit) there should be a good reason. It should be spring cleaning, or maybe she is feeling sick, or maybe guests are coming and she needs help cleaning up for that. However there is evidence none of those are the case.
