I have the movie on Blu-ray, DVD, and ripped to mkv on a flash drive just so there's a chance it survives as a post-collapse "seed bank" for those who follow to understand what happened.

Kubrick allegedly asked Raphael if it would be possible to make a film about the Holocaust. Raphael replied that it already had been done a few times.
‘Has it?” Kubrick is quoted as saying. ‘I didn’t know that.”
When Raphael cited ‘Schindler’s List” as an example, Kubrick reportedly replied:
‘That was about success, wasn’t it? The Holocaust is about six million people who get killed. ‘Schindler’s List’ was about six hundred people who don’t.”

I had to re-read this about 3 or 4 times before I got what Kubrick is saying here. I think. Key word "possible" - I think he's making a point that if you tried to actually go into detail into the holocaust story rather than just a kike family's personal struggle or someone trying to smuggle people, that there's no way to make it make sense, even through fiction.

It's worth repeating though, Kubrick is a jew. He's not like us and he's not on our side, even if he's not happy about who his people are. This give us some leeway to enjoy his movies and gain insight from some of his messages, and I probably wouldn't push the gas button on him for that reason, but we shouldn't look to him or anyone like him (cough Ben Shapiro cough) as being part of our struggle.
