Tag is OK. I’m not such a watch snob that I scoff at them. Most watch geeks seem to think the company was better when they were just Heuer. In most instances, I would rather a Tag than a Movado, that’s for sure. The Carrera is a nice piece. The only Tag I want is the Steve McQueen/Walter White Monaco Gulf Edition. That one is like $7K, I believe. I wear my Rolexes 3 or 4 times a week, but I only keep one in my apartment at any given time in case of burglary. Every two weeks , I swap out one. When I’m not wearing my Rolies, I have two Corums and two Bulovas that I wear when I want to take a break from Rolexes. I also have a G-Shock that I need to get fixed.

Honestly this watch has been a piece of shit. But it's what I got. Only like 10 years old and I have had it repaired twice. The second time was because they didn't fix it right the first time. The minute timer in the chronograph still doesn't count right tho. But I don't have the time to take it back again.

The complaint i have heard against Tag is that while the movement is usually a serviceable Swiss movement, there are a couple of plastic pieces inside. The draw of Rolex is that they are dressy sports watches that are built like tanks that have excellent, but very pricy repair service. A Rolex can easily go 6 or 8 years without servicing and with i lntermittent servicing will likely last 50 or 100 years.
