For a tycoon supposedly so astute, and such a good judge of character....Trump sure did handpick an awful lot of turncoats and backstabbers...even in his inner circle. I doubt he could of done worse if he had tacked names on index cards to the wall, and threw darts at them blindfolded! Add to it an old alky cunt like Pelosi outmaneuvered him at nearly every turn, and one begins to grasp why another term is not such a great idea. Politics was not his forte.

This isn't as deep as you think. Trump is targeted not because he was going to squash some cabal but because he had an attitude (lower factor reason), and because the precedent and practice of taking down an opponent with the tools they have has value in itself, and that having a boogie man and proving to themselves that they can convince the public to accept any rule bend if a boogie man exists gives them unmitigated access to power.

They don't care about Trump. Trump is an object of their show. Trump has no real depth or underlying principles. His only principle is do and say what brings you success. "Lock her up!" wasn't even a phrase that originated with him. It originated with his crowd and he repeated it because it got good play with the crowd. He doesn't deserve to be a boogie man. He doesn't deserve to be considered amazing. The reality of Trump is far more boring than anyone is allowing him to be. The deep state just found a boring president that they could treat as their chew toy to show their teeth to the American public.

Edit: A little more detail. Obama weaponized every agency of the Federal government. Trump's real sin is being the first republican president to come after Obama. They would have tested their tools on anyone.

I don’t think he’d even win if he tried, but at the very least the entire GOP knows they have zero chance of getting someone in the WhiteHouse with trump pretending to run.

My money is on trump doing this to himself as a stunt, but IF it’s not, I’d say it’s probly whatever jews are planning on funding the next GOP candidate.
