Years ago they were bought by some British entity that caved in to the Klinton gun control crowd, making a bunch of concessions. The saying "Smith & Wesson Must Die" went around. Business went to shit (Go Woke...). The firm was sold back to Americans who put things right again. Nice turnaround.
