This stuff applies well to anyone dealing with turning vanes, or strakes to guide flow. Often underestimated or outright missed by CFD is the 3D nature of the flow and secondary flow structures between strakes/compressor rows.
I bet he doesn't know about the six hydrocoptic marzlevanes, though. Nor is he apparently aware of a base plate of pre-famulated amulite surmounted by a malleable logarithmic casing in such a way that the two spurving bearings are in a direct line with the panametric fan.
